Stopped off at Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds and met a smiling dog. Charming villages, but impossibly narrow roads. Shopping would have been great if we'd had a spare suitcase! On to historic Bath with its yellow stone buildings and "Circuses".

Followed the river up the valley through Brecon Beacons National Park. Rolling green hills, wild ponies. Camped overnight at Llangorse Lake, with its Welsh Crannog (ancient dwelling) and legends of King Arthur. Exited via Abergavenny (yes we sang the song) (badly) and watched narrow boats on Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.

Saw King Lear at the Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon (it was so long though, BoyRob couldn't believe there was a second half...) The gorgeous weather continues (which is good in open-top busses) Tricia, Dad will be delighted to hear that although it looked flash in the pictures, the motorhome is "tinny" compared to our sturdy EarthCruiser!!
