Still in Wales, we went to Pentre Ifan (Burial Chamber), to Cardigan Bay, to St Govens (Norman Church and Lily Ponds in lieu of wild coast due to road closures), to Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, and Neath Abbey ruins.

Spent a few days in Snowdonia National Park (stone houses, stone churches, stone bridges, stone fences....), walked round Caerarfon Castle, and took a ride on the famous Welsh-Ffestiniog railway (one way, as it broke down and we had to bus back!!)

Parked overnight near Lake Vrynwy, on the edge of Snowdonia National Park in Wales. AWESOME stone dam! Drove around the circumference of the lake, and walked down to the bottom, stream, weir, and sculpture park. Its an area of scientific and ornithological interest.
