GirlRob's Dad had major surgery in the latter part of 2015, and made the decision to downsize his property at Elimbah. He closed the gate on Wongar, and moved in with daughter Tricia and husband Doug. Starting out as rehabilitation, GirlRob and Pop started to visit both remembered and unexplored places in South East Queensland. It soon took on a life of its own, and both planned their day trips with anticipation.

We had a longer day out going through Kilkoy, Toogoolawah, Esk, the Ravensbourne National Park and Lakes Perseverance and Constance. Pop was keen to see the valleys and headwaters responsible for the severe Brisbane floods some years back.
