Nov 2015 to April 2016: Day trips around South-East Queensland (2)
GirlRob and Pop continued their driving day trips exploring South East Queensland. First stop the spectacular formations in the Glasshouse Mountains National Park:

We took the Kilcoy road from Maleny stopping briefly at Cambroon Bridge, looking at the fish swimming lazily in the shallow waters. We felt lucky to spot a large turtle among the reeds. We headed further north turning off at Charlie Moreland campgrounds, then through the Imbil Forest and the Conondale National Park. We had the Sunday Creek track to ourselves for an hour or more before emerging at Jimna.

We found the Peach Trees campgrounds Pop was looking for - and it was easy to see why it had been Mum's favourite:
