Lovely sleep in, then met kids in amazing hotel pool with starry skies (a la Las Vegas!) and brunch before Kerrie’s family depart for Shanghai. Had time to duck into Apple store with Anthony to get SD card/ photo downloader for iPads. Booked out of hotel by noon, rescued the luggage trolley from Harry and waved them off to airport.
GirlRob booked into Days Inn Forbidden City where Marina had been staying (only $40pn!) to get early start in morning on embassies for visas, read/ edited photos to swap with others before leaving China. Explored area, market alley, BoyRob had a haircut before returning to Champing to book into hotel there – he has to deliver camper truck to Webasto early tomorrow morning for stove repairs.

Not our preferred afternoon tea |
Had a divine early dinner before BoyRob left the city – Peaking Roast Duck with pancakes and condiments, fried rice. The restaurant was pretty classy with chefs on island in middle of restaurant using kilns for roasting, surrounded by a moat of goldfish/ koi. They delivered each duck to table and sliced with great showmanship!
