5-31 January 2016: A visit from our Swedish friends

5-30 January 2016: A visit from our Swedish friends
It was wonderful to be able to repay the hospitality of Eskil and Julia, the lovely couple who "sponsored" our first visit to Sweden, and hosted our Midsummer fun there. They stayed with us for a couple of weeks in January, through a whirlwind of social events, and meeting most of our family and camping buddies.

Boomers hosted a reunion barbeque for Romeo and Juliet, with Wanderoos:

Baking damper of course!

A day seeing Brisbane from the City Cat ferry, a stroll around Southbank and lunch at a Turkish restaurant (SO very multicultural!!):

Old Customs House

The heritage listed Story Bridge

Powerhouse Museum

A visit to Kym and Lyn's lakeside retreat:

And way too much food, glorious food:

Pigs in blankets, pancakes, prawns - we will miss you guys!!

Wowsers - Swedish Sandwich Cake is MUCH better than we had imagined

Enjoying the peace of the Pumicestone Passage:
