Day 12 – Rest Day at Cherating Point - Thurs 7 Mar

Day 12 – Rest Day at Cherating Point - Thurs 7 Mar
Rained through night – happy to note no water leaks! Soft pink sunrise heralded another warm day; breezes come and go. Rearranged some cupboards, did chores and minor repairs (eg fixing fridge chain) before settling in to developing travel/fuel log, blog, photos, and charging devices to maximise intermittent wifi. Skyped with our son Justin in Canada (personal technology guru) to activate the SPOT personal locator beacon.
Cemetery - all semicircular mounds face east
Planned next log of trip to border with Thailand. Met Malay couple and their three girls who run a farmstay north in Kuala Terengganu where we are headed tomorrow – they called over their dad to help with info on road under construction from east coast past the lake through Gua Musang. “OK you, you big truck, you go this bad road OK”...let’s hope so….

Cor –this is a proper beach awright… the ice cream bike’s just been through ringing his bell!! Off for final surf and an Aussie dinner of steak and salad before we forget how to cook.
