Ate sago porridge with mixed berries and cream for breakfast - it's official, GirlRob has put on one kilo just this week!!! It’s a rainy day, overcast so had to do washing & drying in cellar downstairs. Julia offered to babysit Sigge after his long day out yesterday, rather than drive him in and out of Ostersund, Julia giving him music tips. 

GirlRob borrowed the sewing machine for on-the-run repairs to seams. Later managed to squeeze in some photo editing before a scrumptious lunch of scrambled eggs and salmon gravelax on variety of crisp and flatbreads. Eskil is determined there will not be a national Scandinavian dish we have missed! BoyRob discussed possibility of storing EC in Trangsviken instead of Raab at end of this year, and went off to see farmer with big heated barn. We scrounged copies of recipes. Eskil produced our Swedish Residence Permits from mail - what a relief that the documents won't now be chasing us around Europe! We celebrated with new drink sensations – Caipirinha, Brazilian drink (Canario/ Cachaca) with nuts before our final dinner with our hosts of quiche and antipasto vegetables. Followed up with Austrian rum with butterscotch in hot chocolate (stroh rum), Eskil sneaking more into our bedtime cuppa. We think we must depart in self-defence…

Mad flurry at end of evening to get their friend Hannelore’s address in Marchegg Austria near Bratislava border. Planned to meet each other later in year in Luxembourg and discuss rearranging schedule to park over winter in Trangsviken. Gave Julia copy of all the edited photos of our glorious week. Just before bed we realised we hadn't made time in all the busy-ness to play cards!
